Songwriter Stories Fair Use Tom Willett

Songwriter Stories Fair Use Tom Willett

www.myhollywoodstar.com Many songwriters have lived interesting lives. It was not luck that got them to the top. It was determination and events in their lives from which they developed an understanding of the stories that were so real and, often painful, but which had to be told. Some of the songwriters relied on their sense of humor. Some learned to see a picture of what was happening around them and they knew somehow, how to put it in words. Some songs started with a letter sent to someone, some songs were begun as words on a scrap of paper and some were from the pens of gifted wordsmiths. If you want to find out more about these songs, do search Johnny Mercer, Neil Diamond, Ross Bagdasarian, Rod Parker, David Seville, Lefty Frizzell, Huddie Ledbetter, Lead Belly, Leadbelly and Audie Murphy, Be sure to read how Audie Murphy won his Congressional Medal of Honor, holding back a Nazi company of advancing soldiers, single handedly, while he stood on a burning tank and was sho! t, but continued his fight, protecting his unit's position. I highly recommend watching his biographical movie To Hell and Back.
